Cheapest tablet from iBerry



Description:
iBerry mobiles, a Hong Kong based tablet manufacturer is said to launch the cheapest tablet in India by October 10th. One of the devices with a 7” display screen will be offered at a price tag of Rs 6,999 and the other one with a display screen of 10” will be made available at a price of Rs 14,999. Both the tablets are offered with 1 year warranty across the country. The tablets will have a stiff competition from Beetel Magiq and Spice Mi-720 in the mobile market.

The tablet with 7” display screen will have a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 512 MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 3G USB model support. This device codenamed as iBerry BT07 will have a 7” screen with 800x480p resolution.

The other tablet with the 10” display screen is dubbed as iBerry BT10 which supports the screen resolution of 1024x800p. The device has the 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU with 512 MB DDR2 RAM. The device supports 2G and 3G dual SIMs and has an internal memory storage of 4 GB.

Both the devices feature Flash 10.3 that enables browsing experience and video streaming. The Gyro based motion sensor and the OpenGL ES2.0 helps with the gaming application to the user. The BT10 and BT07 will run on the Android Gingerbread OS. The external memory on the tablets can be extended up to 32 GB through microSD cards. The mini USB port on the device enables the transfer of data through pen drives.

The devices will be available in the market from October 10th in all the iBerry dealerships including the online retailers.

The potential competitor of the iBerry tablet, Beetel Magiq is offered in India at mere Rs 9000 which features a 1 GHz CPU and 3G support on calling. The device has a front and the rear camera aboard, which means video chat is enabled with the tablet.
